Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies

Authored a piece for the Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies on the Scandinavian model. This article offers an alternative  breakdown of why the Nordic countries are deemed economically and socially succesful and how the United States might come closer to a welfare-based economy. Dr. Evelyn Brodkin, an associate professor at the University of Chicago, provides insights into American neoliberal thought and socio-economic history that may create barriers to adopting a Nordic Model.
